CAMPUS DIRECTORS

Key QB3 initiatives led by our campus directors include

  • At UC Berkeley, QB3 manages 10 core research facilities that offer fabrication, proteomics, mass spectrometry, genomic sequencing, computational genomics, high-throughput screening, and protein engineering. Staffed by PhD-level staff scientists, the core facilities serve hundreds of university and industry researchers and continually evolve to meet changing research needs. Learn more
  • At UC San Francisco, the Cancer Cell Mapping Initiative, a partnership with UC San Diego scientists, which uses quantitative systems tools to help understand the underlying biology behind the genomic data derived from breast, head and neck, and other cancers. Learn more
  • At UC Santa Cruz, the Treehouse Childhood Cancer Initiative, a collaboration with UCSF clinicians to find drugs to treat pediatric cancers, and the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health, which aims to make precision medicine a reality by advancing a framework that enables scientists to share genomic and clinical data.
