BAKAR LABS
Bakar Labs, now taking tenant applications, is our newest incubator, with space for up to 50 life science companies. It’s located in the Bakar BioEnginuity Hub on the UC Berkeley campus. Bakar Labs is home to entrepreneurs tackling the world’s most important challenges. Visit the Bakar Labs website
QB3 Garage@UCSF
The original QB3 Garage, founded in 2006, located in Byers Hall at UCSF in Mission Bay. Now closed.
QB3 Garage@Berkeley
The QB3 Garage@Berkeley in Stanley Hall features approximately 800 square feet of wet laboratory space, set up with eight stations for incubator use. Each station offers bench and desk space, and network connections. Resident companies also share use of a prep bench with standard lab facilities, along with space for floor-standing equipment.
S3 Labs
Located in proximity to the Stanford campus and Stanford Medical Center, this location offers 2,000 square feet of wet lab space that includes access to a host of shared research equipment. Tenants are also able to use fee-for-service facilities at Stanford.
Startup Sandbox
An incubator for innovation and technology commercialization supporting entrepreneurs across a variety of sectors from UCSC, Santa Cruz County, and the greater Bay Area. Located in a 13,500 square foot building at 250 Natural Bridges Drive in Santa Cruz.
