About the Speaker
Ansuman Satpathy, M.D., Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Immunology at Stanford University and an investigator in the Gladstone-UCSF Institute of Genomic Immunology, the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, and the Stanford Cancer Institute. Satpathy’s research combines expertise in cancer biology, immunology, and high-throughput genomics and computation to investigate the interactions between cancer and the immune system. He is also a co-founder of Immunai, Cartography Biosciences, Santa Ana Biosciences, and ModuleBio, and an advisor to Wing Venture Capital and Catalio Capital Management.Satpathy earned his M.D. and Ph.D. in immunology from Washington University in St. Louis. He completed his clinical residency in pathology and postdoctoral training in genetics at Stanford University. His honors include the Pew-Stewart Scholar Award in Cancer Research, the Lloyd J. Old STAR Award from the Cancer Research Institute, the Career Award for Medical Scientists from the Burroughs Wellcome Fund, and the Michelson Prize in Human Immunology.
